To provide a unique entertainment experience, in the form of interactive murder mysteries and other similarly styled shows, using professional actors from the region.  And, we want to show that Charlotte is more than just a financial capitol.  It is a patchwork of wonderful neighborhoods and surrounding towns woven together to make it a "world-class" city.

About Town Tours was founded in 2002 by owner Della Freedman, a long time resident of Charlotte, North Carolina.  After many years of planning events, managing bands, and performing in the local theatre community, Della decided to create her company ABOUT TOWN TOURS, LLC in order to provide a unique experience for the Charlotte community as well as an opportunity to offer work to other actors in town.  Della believes that "there's no such thing as too much laughter."

Since 2003 the About Town Tours' ComeSolveIt-Charlotte Players have been performing interactive murder mysteries.  We have been touring throughout the Southeast performing at country clubs (for their members), colleges (for
student activities), and corporate events (team building, retreats, sales meetings, employee incentives, client appreciation), birthday and other special events.  We are proud to say that as a small business where word of mouth is the best form of advertising, we have a lot of repeat business and
referrals.

What You Can Expect

We provide a self-contained murder mystery (actors, costumes, props, handout materials for audience members).  The actors are the suspects.  The murder has already happened and this is the day after.  The actors give their testimony and then go around the room to each table to be interrogated by
the audience members.  Your guests become the detectives and have to use their powers of deductive reasoning to figure out "Whodunit."  It's a true murder mystery.  We come to your venue.  It takes about 2 hours.  We have no sets.  We only require two wireless microphones and a small staging area for the initial setup of the show.  We are very adaptable to most spaces.
